Week 6: #TwoPointSixChallenge

Updated: May 2, 2020

I've nothing much to add after last week's post, except to say that the oncologist was right, and the throat pain, and pain from swallowing, just continues to increase daily. Given the side effects I had to the morphine, I've been moved onto a new painkiller, but same family, Oxycodone.

And after a Saturday of feeling a bit sorry for myself, I decided to get my runners on, as running solves everything right? I did nothing strenuous, but thought I'd follow the #twopointsixchallenge (after the cancelled London Marathon), and ran round Wanstead Park (albeit a bit more than 2.6 miles 😅).

Tomorrow is a new week, and most importantly:

THE FINAL WEEK OF RADIATION THERAPY.
